The REACH project (Reshaping Engagement, Advocacy, and Capacity-building for Youth in Sport for All) is an initiative funded under the Erasmus+ programme, a partnership of 12 organisations, including EOSE, led and coordinated by TAFISA.
REACH aims to enhance youth engagement in Sport for All by empowering young people aged 18-30 to take on leadership, management, and advocacy roles within the sector. The project addresses key challenges in youth participation, ensuring that young people are not just participants but active contributors to shaping the future of Sport for All.
Through a combination of capacity-building training, mentorship programmes, advocacy efforts, and grassroots community projects led by young people, REACH seeks to create long-term change in how youth engage with and influence Sport for All organisations.
Representatives of project partners were able to meet in-person for the first time in Frankfurt on 27-28 March to meet each other and discuss plan and progress of this ambitious, 2-year project.
Wojciech Waśniewski, EOSE Projects & Research Coordinator, joined the meeting and presented on the project’s Communication, Dissemination and Impact Measurement Plan, which EOSE is responsible for.
We are looking forward to working with project partners over the next 2 years, and sharing the outputs of the project with our network:
- Literature Review – Mapping existing youth engagement strategies in Sport for All
- Analysis of Sport for All organizations’ policies on youth engagement
- Youth Engagement Charter for Sport for All organizations, alongside a Mentorship Charter
- Enhanced volunteer leadership training modules strengthening youth-focused capacity building
- Collection of good practices from 9 Community Actions.
