The French Golf Federation (ffgolf) organises, administers, directs, controls and develops the sport of amateur and professional golf, and associated sports in France.

The main missions of the federation are to:

  • officially represent affiliated sport associations and their members both in France (public authorities) and abroad

  • coordinate activity of sport associations and contribute to their proper functioning by studying and centralising general, administrative, technical and sporting matters likely to interest the whole without, however, interfering in the management of each of them

  • rule as a last resort on all matters relating to the game of golf and related sports

  • ensure the sports ethics charter

  • facilitate the development of the sport of golf in France with any measure promoting sustainable development and represent the sport of French golf to national and international bodies for all questions relating environment.
