EOSE publishes its first ever book

  • 8 August 2014
  • Date: 8 August 2014

After a long period of anticipation, we are now delighted to be able to introduce the first ever EOSE book entitled “Sport: linking education, training and employment in Europe – an EOSE network perspective” and published in July 2014 by the Presses Universitaires de Louvain.
The book gathers a series of articles and contributions aiming to serve as a solid written groundwork that strengthens the foundations of EOSE work, challenges, activities and projects. Our wish is for this book -which marks the special occasion of the 10 year anniversary of EOSE and got the official support from three key stakeholders which are Mrs Androulla VASSILIOU, Mr Joachim James CALLEJA and Mrs Claudia BOKEL- to be used and referred to by all our national members, ambassadors, partners, and contributors.

VSPORT+ project selected as a good practice

  • 28 July 2014
  • Date: 28 July 2014

It is with a great pleasure that the KA4 VSPORT+ project partners (EOSE as monobeneficiary and its network of twelve national ambassadors) have been selected for the brochure “Good practices from the Lifelong Learning Programme, Key Activity 4, Action on Dissemination and Exploitation of results” -meant to be a reservoir of valuable experiences and practical project results that have the potential to inspire other organisations.

The main aim of VSPORT+ Project – which full title was “VSPORT+: A Cross-Sectoral Valorisation Framework for the Lifelong Learning Strategy in Sport”- was to carry out a range of valorisation activities at all levels and most specifically within 12 EU countries to reach a maximum of targeted stakeholders while using an innovative approach of awareness raising and dissemination through the engagement of experienced and recognised National Ambassadors chosen from the membership of EOSE (in Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Slovakia, Spain and UK).
