To launch this event the European Commission asked who is interested in the political context of European sport, willing to know more about the Erasmus+ Sport Programme, looking for funding for 2025 or partners for a future application? And EOSE answered, “we are”.
Therefore, on the 16th of December Aurélien Favre and Wojciech Waśniewski from EOSE staff team attended the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day 2025 organised by the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Policy was discussed and advice and tips on how to prepare and submit proposals was given as well as information on the financial aspects of funding. The event was also a fantastic opportunity to network and meet old and new members, partners and colleagues from across the sector. A number of EOSE members were represented at the event, including our members from Malta (by EOSE Board Member Mark Cutajar and Ryan Fenech), Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Italy.
EOSE thanks the European Commission and Executive Agency for the event and is now in a position to decide how to proceed in relation to the Erasmus+ 2025 funding call.
