Results of #ErasmusPlus Sport Chapter now available!

Out of the 370 eligible applications, 160 projects led by organisations from 27 different countries have been selected for funding (66 Collaborative Partnerships, 84 Small Collaborative Partnerships and 10 Not-for-profit European sport events) and 2 have been placed on a reserve list. EOSE is proud to be partner of some of the successful projects and leader of the ONSIDE project which will deal with “Innovative education to enhance the skills of Sport Officials in Europe”.
The European Commission has also announced that in 2018, Erasmus+ Sport will strengthen its international scope. At EOSE we believe this will bring a lot to the sector. This change, to be seen in the next call for proposals in autumn 2017, is one of the results of the work delivered in June 2016 by the High Level Group on Sport Diplomacy, which was created in 2015 at request of Commissioner for Education and Culture Tibor Navracsics, and co-chaired by EOSE President, Mr Thierry Zintz. With this reform, the hope is that there will be a much more international flavour to the sport organisations that can benefit from Erasmus+ sport.
