Context: -

Brief description of the initiative (aim and activities): Sport-Emploi is a unique work placement program for young people aged 16 to 25 who are dropping out of school and / or university.

In practice it embeds:

1) Academic courses with 6 theoretical modules: Expression and communication,  Self-esteem, development of relational skills, Realization of a constructive project approach, Office and management in a web environment,  Personal and Professional Project – PPP and Live the sport differently.

2) Reception and coaching by professional sports clubs to benefit from the tools and services usually reserved for athletes: coaching by coaches and top athletes, sports practices, discovery of sports professions, networking with the sponsors companies of the club, involvement in events.

3) An immersion in the world of business, thanks to the mobilization of the network of 250 companies members of the Institute of the Patronage of Solidarity (IMS-Entrepreneurship for the City).

Target: Young people from 16 to 25 years old who are dropping out of school and / or university

Main results: -

Factors of success:

  • Qualifying training: An adapted pedagogy with a personalized follow-up of each participant in a university establishment.
  • Concrete immersion in the world of business: Internship at the end of the program: 4 weeks – 120 hours, 30 hours per week.
  • Strong partnership: IMS-Entreprendre pour la Cité, the Youth Information and Documentation Center (CIDJ) and Pyksis Communication.
