The conference gathered over 100 participants from over 30 countries, including Australia, New Zealand and India, and more than 20 European federations, associations and international companies to share views on how to develop VET for a globalised economy.
Ben Gittus, EOSE Director of Standards, represented EOSE at the conference and presented in a workshop on the topic of “Sport qualifications in Europe: managing the expectations of national qualifications frameworks and international federations”. Ben’s presentation described the situation in Europe of international standards and qualifications developed by sport federations being implemented at the national level and the impact and links to emerging national qualifications frameworks.
