French Federation of Professional Trainers (FEP)

Bringing together unions and associations of professionals coaches and educators from different sports the Federation of Professional Trainers (FEP) aims to strengthen their cooperation by pooling their experience and allowing a dialogue on the essential issues of the profession coaching, professional sports as well as the French  and European governance of sport.

The FEP was created at the initiative of the National Union of Coaches, Educators and Technical Executives of Football (Union Nationale des Entraîneurs, Educateurs et Cadres Techniques du Football – UNECATEF), the Union of Rugby Coaches and Educators -TECH XV), the Union of Basketball Coaches (Syndicat des Coachs de Basket – SCB) and the Union of Professional Handball Coaches  (Groupement des Entraîneurs Professionnels de Handball – 7 MASTER). They were soon joined by the Union of the Volleyball Coaches and Educators (Syndicat des Entraîneurs et Educateurs de Volley-Ball – SEEVB) and the Organisation of Professionals in Martial Arts (Organisation des Professionnels des Arts Martiaux – OPAM).

The FEP gathers more than 1000 coaches, technical managers and professional educators from professional clubs, clubs participating in federal competitions and employees from the departmental and regional committees of Federations.

The FEP has the desire to be a constructive force for proposal facing the economic, societal and legal challenges of sport professional, women sport and sport in general. It aims at promoting the recommendations made by coaches facing major developments in sport.
