EU-28 Research Report on Sport Employment

EOSE is currently coordinating the Erasmus+ SKILLS project funded by the European Commission as a continuation of the successful ESSA-Sport project .
To keep the momentum, the ambition of SKILLS is to pursue the collection and analysis of available data and official statistics on the sport labour market in all EU Member States.
Indeed, in order to make an impact on the sector and allow it to unlock its potential to improve people’s lives and have in impact on health, employment and the economy, it is necessary to have a proper understanding of the size and characteristics of the labour market, and information about its changes and tendencies.
The analysis of the sport employment data for the year 2019 and the first two quarters of 2020 are included in the recently published EU Research Report.
